Meltzone

No one has ever drilled this deep in Antarctica before and already there are warning signs: Some places on earth should not be disturbed. When a technician at the drill site goes missing and then another turns up dead, Adam, Ex-SAS, still reeling from the death of his child and looking for oblivion, is hired to clear up the mess. But on the same flight out is someone even more nihilistic: Pan, working for the same company as a corporate green-washer and former glaciologist, would rather be anywhere than on the ice.  Antarctica is a place that still haunts her, having betrayed all she believed for a buck.  Adam and Pan will soon have to reckon not only with their own darkness but that which is rising towards all of them from underneath the ice.
